Nintendo Switch 2 Accessories Price Adjustments
Nintendo has announced price adjustments for its first-party accessories launching alongside the Switch 2 on June 5th. While the console’s price remains $449.99, accessories will see an increase due to “changes in market conditions.”
The new pricing reveals a $5 hike for most accessories. The Pro Controller will now cost $84.99 (up from $79.99), a pair of Joy-Con 2 controllers will be $94.99 (from $89.99), and the Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip will be $39.99 (previously $34.99). Even smaller items like the Joy-Con 2 Strap and Wheel Set will see slight increases. The dock set experiences the largest jump, now priced at $119.99 (up from $109.99).
These adjustments, averaging around $5 per accessory, will increase the overall cost of ownership for early adopters looking to purchase extra controllers or the dock. Nintendo has stated that further price adjustments for any of their products are possible in the future depending on market conditions.
