This is a great waterproof but extremely breathable shell. It's been described as a heavy softshell or a light hardshell. I got it and really wish I could keep it, but it just doesn't layer over my puffy gear as well as I hoped in the size small. If you're wanting to use it for mild or cool temps and a fleece I think it would be great, but I got it for ice climbing and ski mountaineering, and with a puffy layer under it's just a bit too tight for me. I cut off the tag when I got it, but it has NEVER been used outside of my gear room. I still have the tags, and they will be included as you can see in the photo. That last photo is straight from Rab, obviously.
